still as a mountain, flowing like a river
We live in a field of qi, "vital breath" or "life energy." Yet, like a fish in water or a bird in flight, we are unaware of the medium that supports us. Qigong means "working with the qi."
It is the ancient Chinese art and science of becoming aware of this life energy and learning how to control its flow through a precise choreography of posture, movement, respiratory technique, and meditation. Like biofeedback, qigong teaches psychophysiological self-regulation; the student becomes aware of bodily functions conventionally considered involuntary-- blood pressure, respiratory rate, even the flow of blood and nutrients to internal organs-- and learns to restore a healthier balance. However, unlike biofeedback, no technical devices are needed.
Qigong is one of the most cost-effective self-healing methods in the world. The only investment needed is time, a half-hour to an hour each day; the dividends of better health, increased vitality, and peaceful alertness...

The Golden Pearl Conscious Flowing System
by the founder Master Pierre Marleau
The approach to GP system is holistic, in cooperating all aspects of being - body, mind and soul. It is a new way of doing qigong, mixing old traditional qi-gong with newly inspired exercises, movements and meditation passed down by the Masters.
Stillness
is in great need with the lifestyle that most of us are being challenged with today. Stillness helps to quiet the overuse of the five senses enabling us to feel, understand and direct the flow of energy to heal our own bodies.
It is all about flow
of energy from the aura, to the chakras and to the body functions, everything has to flow. When energy stops flowing, we develop blocks that prevent the body's natural flow and instead can turn into illnesses. When energy is constantly flowing, we resonate with the frequency of the universe and at the same time radiate this amazing energy in our environment and the planet.
In deep stillness
joy, quietness, love, and deep healing currents are discovered. This method is a spiritual method where people`s souls are touched to move forward in life to achieve their goals and fulfill their destiny.

Master Pierre's testimonial
"Minie has been a Golden Pearl Qigong instructor for 20 years. Her deep understanding of energy, her deep love of caring for people, her ability to accomplish things and her special gentle way of relating to people have made her a Master Teacher.
I consider Minie as one of my top students, now a very good friend. Every class with her is an experience where the soul is just delighted to wake up again and feel life as an amazing opportunity. With Minie, you are not only in good hands, but you are in God`s hands."
The core essence of GPQ is to calm the mind and relax the body so as to allow the body to cultivate energy/qi, to flow internally and externally for natural healing and wellbeing. To attain this state of mindfulness, I use beautiful calming music, guided instructions, very slow meditative qigong exercises and deep natural breathing. All the exercises are done sitting, standing or moving.
I have a big range of exercises that I incooperate in my classes, among them:
GPQ classes are open for everyone from ages 10 and above, with no prior experience or knowledge. Suitable attire are loose and comfortable clothing that keeps warm and soft shoes or socks.
It is advisable not to have a big meal before a class and to come 10 minutes before we begin.
Come with an open heart and mind, a desire to learn with no expectations and experience the internal magic of the Golden Pearl...

The art of Taoist Internal Alchemy
A 12-day course of Nei Tan, Qigong and Tai Chi in foothills of the ancient Wudang mountains in China with my Taoist Master, Master Hu.
The practice of Nei Tan (Taoist Internal Alchemy), is to uncover an "Inner Medicine."
This "Inner Medicine" is able to uproot the direct cause of all disease and give practitioners a wonderful sense of happiness and peacefulness. Yet, people are always making great efforts in searching for medicine externally, rather than searching something within. The art of Taoist Internal Alchemy is a journey within -- discovering the Original Innate Nature and Essence of our True Self – gaining Health, Vitality, and Harmony.
Taiji Quan, short form Yang style
The 24-posture Simplified Form of t'ai chi ch'uan sometimes called the Beijing or Peking form for its place of origin, is a short version of Taiji composed of twenty-four unique movements.
What is Taiji Quan?
Taiji Quan is a style of qigong. It is graceful, relaxed, slow, and fluid, like a slow- motion dance. Unlike some qigong methods that exercise specific systems or parts of the body-- nervous system, endocrine system, heart, kidneys-- Taiji Quan is a whole body, whole mind exercise. It treats health systemically, restoring the body to its original "program", uncorrupted by stress, pollution, and disease.
